You might have noticed the beautiful bowls displayed in front of the AMS reception desk. Those bowls were decorated by our AMS kindergarten, lower and upper elementary students for the Annual Empty Bowl Project which raises funds for the Beans Cafe. The Empty Bowl luncheon will be held Saturday March, 15th from 11 AM - 2 PM in the Egan Center.
Until now the AMS bowls were only for sale to the parents of those students. As of tomorrow the bowls go on sale to any interested buyers. Please stop by the AMS front desk and support the Beans Cafe along with the beautiful work of our AMS students.

Thanks Kinderrgarten, lower and upper elementary students for their beautiful bowls. We raised over $560 for Beans Cafe. The event raised over $128,000 from donated bowls and a silent auction.
100% of the profits go to Bean’s Café. It is a center in Anchorage where the hungry and homeless are provided with hot nutritious meals, a warm and safe shelter and referral assistance to health and human services programs.
This event reminds us there are always empty bowls in the world. Thank you for your support.
